VMSTAT swpd si so

with respect to the post in

Just to clarify difference between swpd, si and so, these are very important fields of vmstat (virtual memory statistics),
swpd -  is the used swap memory,  means the amount of swap memory used by the system, default measurement is in kb.
si - is the Rate at which the memory is swapped back from the disk to the physical RAM -- the numbers shows the speed of the memory transfer in kb per second
so - is the Rate at which the memory is swapped out to the disk from physical RAM

So swpd is the memory information on how much swap is used by the system
si and so is the speed at which the memory transfer happening from disk and physical ram,

monitoring both the values swpd and si+so are very important for virtual memory information.
